Strange thing is, I’m NOT USING A PROXY! Never bothered to run the proxy checker<\/a> when i’m just using the internet normally before. Tried it this time and got these information below. looks like I’m using a proxy.<\/p>\n

So, my question is this…<\/p>\n

On sites that don’t like you using Proxies (paypal etc) how dubious to the above values need to be before said sites can confirm you are definately using a proxy and then take action?<\/p>\n

Can someone explain the values: HTTP_VIA, HTTP_X_FORWARDED FOR<\/span> in more detail for me (sorry still new to this game)<\/p>\n

Is having these fields pop up on a proxy i’m using going to flag up my paypal account?<\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong> You aren’t using any proxy in your computer. But your company or ISP may be using a proxy. So the proxy checker detects proxy using.<\/p>\n
